Risk Management Adviser

One of East Anglia's leading Independent Insurance Broker's and Financial Advisers are looking to appoint an experienced Risk Management Adviser to offer a bespoke service that adds value and strengthens the customer relationship, complements our general insurance activity and contributes to business retention and company profitability.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• To promote Risk Management as an added value service to clients
• To undertake risk control and valuation surveys at clients premises
• To ensure that clients are provided with a quality service reflecting the company's strategy
• To produce survey and risk management reports and to provide risk management and valuation advice to customer
• Discuss findings with the Account Executive and the client in relation to building values, fire, security, cash, business interruption and health and safety
• Provide ongoing risk management advice to customers
• Provide health and safety guidance and advice
• Building rapport with new and existing clients to provide a regular client base with repeat business
• Management of own time to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

Experience Requirements:

• Commercial Insurance and Risk Management experience
• Broad understanding of commercial classes of business and the insurance market
• Good relationship and presentation skills
• Ability to fact find and understand a broad spectrum of business
• Highly effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Excellent organisational skills

Qualifications:

• NEBOSH Certificate minimum requirement
• Insurance qualification – preferably Dip CII and a firm commitment to further study
