In 2002, the Group acquired the Investors in People standard and there is a strong commitment within the Group towards the training and development of staff. Our Directors strongly believe that investment in training and development is critical to the success of the Group.

Each individual has his or her own training and competence plan which is discussed and assessed with their line manager. Regular appraisals are also conducted throughout the year. In addition, all staff are encouraged to become professionally qualified and are rewarded financially when their qualifications are obtained.

Staff are urged to take the advantage of promotional opportunities that become available throughout the year. Vacancies are advertised internally and the Directors firmly believe in growing our own talent providing the staff have the necessary experience, talent and drive.
