10 years of Quality
On 28 June 2005, external auditors Moody International Certification confirmed that the Alan Boswell Group has achieved 10 years of continuous accreditation to the ISO9001:2000 international standard for Quality Management.

ISO refers to the International Organisation for Standardization. ISO9001:2000 is the primary reference for quality management standards across all parts of commerce, industry and the public sector. It is truly world-wide in status being implemented in 500,000 organisations in 160 countries.

Quality management refers to what an organisation does to fulfil:
  • its customers’ quality requirements, and
  • the applicable regulatory requirements, while aiming to
  • enhance customer satisfaction, and
  • achieve continual improvement of its performance in pursuit of these objectives.

Moody International was initially established in the UK in 1988 as Associated Offices Quality Certification (AOQC) by four major engineering insurers: British Engine (Royal Insurance), Eagle Star, National Vulcan (Sun Alliance) and Plant Safety (Commercial Union & General Accident). Over the years the company has evolved to become one of the world’s top 10 ISO certification registrars.

Alan Boswell said: “It is pleasing that our management processes and the people who implement them have met the annual test for the 10th year in a row. Hopefully, our clients can see how committed we are to achieving the highest standards and keeping them up with the best internationally.”
Alan Boswell Insurance Brokers Limited, Alan Boswell Insurance Services Limited and Alan Boswell & Company Limited are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
