96% claim satisfaction!
One client's response sums up the results of the latest Alan Boswell Group's survey of its customers who have recently submitted an insurance claim.

Asked if they were happy overall with the claims service supplied by their broker, 96% said "Yes" and 98% said they would recommend their broker to others.

"The fact that three quarters of these positive responses were in the higher 'Very Satisfied' category is particularly pleasing," commented Rod Gibson, Group Compliance Manager who oversees the firms ongoing customer feedback programmes. "Making a claim is obviously when the customer needs us most and it is often a stressful and demanding time," he added. "We think we do everything to ease the process for them but it is great to get that confirmation."

This was the Group's third survey in 12 months and the second one to focus exclusively on claimants (the other survey covered new sales). The survey involved telephone interviews with a random sample of household, motor and property owner's policyholders.

"The results this time were actually slightly better than the first two surveys and at the time we really thought they could not be beaten." Rod pointed out. "I am always surprised at just how enthusiastic our clients can be. Apart from the good scores, it is also nice to be able to feedback to staff some of the compliments recorded during the survey [see below]. I am sure it spurs us all on to continue the good work."
