Pub Insurer Sponsors 'Going Out Awards'

Pub insurance specialist, Alan Boswell Group, was amongst the sponsors of the inaugural Eastern Evening News ‘Going Out Awards’. The awards were held on 13th January 2008 at Mercy Nightclub Norwich and proved to be a great success. AB Leisure Insurance has strong ties with local businesses in Norwich and Norfolk through its
hospitality trades insurance schemes. It was therefore fitting that the Company sponsored the ‘Community Spirit Award’ which was won by The Forum Norwich.
The Forum opened in 2002 and since then has become a leading venue for many interesting events and a social hot spot. Kirsty Burn, Communications Officer of the Forum was delighted to receive the award. The runners up included The Waterfront, The Playhouse and UEA.
Norwich is renowned for its vibrant nightlife and whilst there may no longer be "a pub for every day of the year," the 'Going Out Awards' were a good indication that the local hospitality sector is thriving.
Community spirit is very much a part of what makes Norwich special and it's something that the Alan Boswell Group has been pleased to support.
