Extensions of Cover

What is covered and what is the cost?

You can optionally extend your therapist's liability policy cover to provide additional business insurances:

Business Equipment Cover

  • Insures business equipment including computers up to a value of £2,500.
  • The limit can be increased if necessary.
  • Cover is on an 'All Risks' basis, anywhere in Europe.
  • Theft cover from vehicles is provided subject to equipment being kept in locked boot/ glove compartment out of sight.
  • Total cost £60

Personal Accident Cover

  • Provides death and capital benefits of £10,000
  • Temporary Total Disablement £100 per week - payable for 104 weeks
  • Deferment period is 7 days
  • Total cost £30

Business Interruption Cover

  • Additional costs of working up to £10,000 (subject to Business Equipment being insured under same policy)
  • Includes claims following loss or damage at members premises (or homes) subject to insurance cover being in force for the main loss
  • Total cost £30

Employers Liability Cover

  • Limit of indemnity £10,000,000
  • Wage roll basis up to £20,000 per annum
  • Total cost £90
