We are delighted to have been appointed to arrange an insurance scheme on behalf of Norfolk Scout Association.

The scheme offers Scout and Guide Groups comprehensive insurance specifically designed with their needs in mind.

By negotiating on behalf of Scout and Guide Groups for the county of Norfolk, we have been able to use bulk purchasing power to reduce insurance premiums. We are now able to offer this scheme to all Scout and Guide Groups across the UK.

The Scout Insurance scheme is underwritten by Aviva, the UK’s biggest insurer.

Many Scout and Guide Groups have already taken advantage of this unique insurance scheme, the majority saving on their premiums whilst benefiting from the bespoke cover.

The Alan Boswell Scouts Insurance scheme has been arranged in conjunction with local Scout and Guide Groups and has been approved at District Commissioner level.

The specially designed Scout and Guide Group policy offers as standard:

  • A full range of perils including theft and accidental damage
  • Cover for Scout and Guide Group contents and equipment whilst at scout premises and whilst temporarily removed elsewhere in the UK
  • Storm cover for tents and camping equipment
  • Cover for equipment on loan to other Scout and Guide Groups
  • The facility to insure Scout and Guide Group buildings almost irrespective of construction
  • Low excesses

We recognise that the Scout Association is a charity and that funding at Group level is often very tight. Our aim is to provide a very cost-effective solution to your Scout and Guide Group’s insurance needs - thereby preserving your funds for Scouting or Guiding activities.
