What is the maximum value of vehicle that you can cover?
Answer:
Our mainstream markets will cover vehicles up to £90,000. They will consider higher value vehicles on a case by case basis (particularly for larger fleets) and if not acceptable under the primary policy than it's possible for us to arrange separate excess value cover with another insurer.
Question:
What kind of excess should I expect to apply to the insurance on my performance hire cars?
Answer:
The excess will vary depending on the vehicle group, the area and the claims history of your business. Typically the excess for a high group, high value vehicle will range from £1,500 to £3,500 but it can be as high as £7,500 or even £10,000 for a supercar.
Question:
What sort of age restrictions will apply to my high performance vehicles?
Answer:
This depends on the vehicle group and value but generally the drivers will need to be aged over 25 and less than 70 years of age. The lower age limit will be raised to 30 years for certain types of high performance car. Approval for drivers falling outside the standard limits will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
