Question: Am I covered for demonstrations and talks?
Answer: Cover is provided for the policyholder to practice at demonstrations and talks, but no cover is afforded for attendees to practice at such events.

Question: Am I covered for Products Liability?
Answer: The selling of products is excluded, other than, sale, supply or prescription of any preparation in connection with the treatment of a client.

Question: Am I covered to practice on patients suffering with cancer?
Answer: Yes, this is covered.

Question: Am I covered to practice on patients with HIV or Aids?
Answer: Yes, cover is provided, but claims arising from any condition directly caused by or associated with this condition are excluded.

Question: Am I covered to practice on pregnant patients?
Answer: Yes, this is covered.

Question: If I do not renew my policy am I covered for any claims made against me?
Answer: Cover is on a claims occurring wording so if cover was in force at the time of the incident insurers will in accordance with the policy terms and conditions deal with the claim.

Question: What are "Approved Therapies"?
Answer: The Alan Boswell Complementary therapy scheme has approved over 150 different types of therapies already approved by Underwriters, including all forms of massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, Doula work, manicures, pedicures, Reiki, hair dressing and beauty therapies.

Question: Who provides the insurance?
Answer: With regards to this scheme, we only offer insurance provided by Novae Plc who are leading suppliers of specialist liability insurance. The policy is arranged via Holistic Insurance Services.

Question: How is my premium made up?
Answer: Your premium is made up by the following:
Standard Cover - The total price of £65 includes premium of £30.66, Insurance Premium Tax of £1.84, Holistic Insurance fee £5.00 and our fee of £27.50.
Beauty Cover - The total price of £95 includes premium of £58.96, Insurance Premium Tax of £3.54, Holistic Insurance fee of £5.00 and our fee of £27.50.
