Approved Therapy List
Your insurance will cover you for either Basic or Special therapies. The level of cover you have selected is shown on your personal certificate of insurance. Please note that all Basic therapies are automatically included under the Special category.
This insurance covers you for Reflexology plus all therapies in your category provided you can produce on demand a relevant professional qualification certificate.
In broad terms, Basic therapies include most standard treatments whereas Special therapies involve some degree of invasive or heat or laser treatment.

- Reflexology performed on cancer patients or those with infertility issues is covered, however failure for the condition (i.e cancer remission or failure to conceive) is not covered.
- Therapies involving animals, except for Kinesiology or Reiki Healing for cats and dogs
- Dance movement therapy
- Electrolysis
- Fitness Training - testing of pulse, blood presssure, height weight to ascertain if OK to participate in physical fitness class
- Gentle Birthing
- Gerson Diet/Therapy
- In cases involving manic depressives, the client should seek his/her GP's prior approval commencing treatment.
