Our mainstream markets will cover vehicles up to £90,000. They will consider higher value vehicles on a case by case basis (particularly for larger fleets) and if not acceptable under the primary policy than it's possible for us to arrange separate excess value cover with another insurer.

We have arranged self drive hire insurance cover for all kinds of exotic vehicles including: Ferrari 360 Spyder, Ferrari 360 Modena, Lamborghini Gallardo. Aston Martin DB9, Bentley Continental GT Coupe, Bentley GTC Convertible, Porsche 996 Turbo, Porsche 997 Carrera Coupe, Range Rover Sport, BMW X5, Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and Ford Mustang GT Shelby.

The insurers will generally require that you have an electronic tracking device fitted to any vehicle with a high value.

This depends on the vehicle group and value but generally the drivers will need to be aged over 25 and less than 70 years of age. The lower age limit will be raised to 30 years for certain types of high performance car. Approval for drivers falling outside the standard limits will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The excess will vary depending on the vehicle group, the area and the claims history of your business. Typically the excess for a high group, high value vehicle will range from £1,500 to £3,500 but it can be as high as £7,500 or even £10,000 for a supercar.
