About this Landlords Association:
The National Landlords Association (NLA) exists to protect and promote the interests of landlords operating in the private rented sector throughout the country. With its head office in Westminster, the NLA lobbies central government increasingly effectively, and through its branch network carries weight with local authorities.
The NLA provides a range of benefits and services to individual members, including a telephone advice line, regular newsletters, and more.
The Association strives for a society with a private-rented sector that is a safe, secure and viable investment operating in a free-market economy. To this end, the Association works in co-operation with national and local government for a thriving private-rented sector where the legislative framework provides for a fair and equitable balance between the interests of landlords and tenants.
The Association is committed to promoting and protecting the interests of private residential landlords and to encouraging the supply of good quality accommodation under sound management.
About the Landlords Insurance Scheme:
The insurance scheme is well established providing for all members very competitive premiums combined with bespoke cover and first class administration. It is underwritten by Norwich Union Insurance with whom all members should feel comfortable. Participation in the scheme benefits the association financially, helping to keep subscription costs low, by utilising its bulk buying power.
