About this Landlords Association:
The Scottish Association of Landlords (SLA) is recognised by the Scottish Executive as the official body representing private landlords in Scotland. It was set up as a Company Limited by guarantee in March 2001.
The aims of he SLA are to provide a self-help group for Landlords in the private rented sector, to act as a conduit for the dissemination of information, and to provide a forum where individual members will be able to meet other Landlords in their own areas for meetings and social gatherings.
By joining SAL you help to protect that investment and benefit from all the advantages that a dedicated body provides. Benefits include national and local meetings, newsletters, advice, representation, discounts, cheaper insurance and more. You will also receive access to the member’s only section of this website providing up to date advice and newsletters.
About the Landlords Insurance Scheme:
The insurance scheme is well established providing for all members very competitive premiums combined with bespoke cover and first class administration. It is underwritten by Norwich Union Insurance with whom all members should feel comfortable. Participation in the scheme benefits the association financially, helping to keep subscription costs low, by utilising its bulk buying power.
