Insurance broker celebrates decade of ISO certification

About ISO
ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) is the World's largest developer and publisher of International Standards. ISO is a network of the national standards institutes of 161 countries, one member per country, with a Central Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland, that coordinates the system.
About ISO 9001:2008
ISO 9001:2008 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organisation:
- needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide a service that meets customers and statutory/regulatory requirements, and
- aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Norwich-based insurance broker Alan Boswell Group is celebrating 10 consecutive years of compliance as an International Organisation for Standardization (ISO) certified company.
The Company's most recent independent audit in July 2009 confirmed its adherence to the demanding requirements of ISO. The ISO 9001:2008 certification covers general insurance broking operations at all four of the broker's offices: two in Norwich and one in Bury St Edmunds and Attleborough.
