Insurance broker sponsors local racer 'growing in confidence'

Matt Allison, supported by leading insurance broker Alan Boswell Group, had a fight on his hands during his two races at Donnington Park in the Air Asia Renault Clio Cup this April.
He secured two fifth place finishes. The first was hotly contested by young charger Tom Grice who hit Allison in a move that saw him relegated to sixth position. However Allison was determined to retain his place, fending off a train of cars behind and then receiving promotion to fifth again when Grice was penalised.
The second race saw Allison command the fifth place early on finishing only 2.245 seconds behind the winner.
Returning to racing after two years this was only Allison's second race of the season in the Scuderia Vittoria racing team. Allison commented: "I'm looking forward to my next round at Thruxton – it's one of my favourite circuits so hopefully we can get that elusive champagne spray!" Sponsor Alan Boswell Group will certainly be cheering Allison all the way.
Former Clio Cup champion and team director added: "Matt drove really well and grew in confidence this weekend."
The Air Asia Renault Clio Cup is part of the British Touring Car Championship package which is broadcast on ITV4 and ITV4 HD. The next race is to be held at Thruxton in Hampshire, weekend of April 30th – 1st May 2011.
