Boswell Sponsors Norwich Union Hockey

Norwich-based Alan Boswell Insurance and Financial Services Group has stepped in to sponsor the Norwich Union Ladies Hockey Club.
The Club's first team has made great strides up the amateur league recently, and its run of success has meant more support is urgently needed for travel, coaching and kit.
"We're committed to sponsoring local sports, a policy that has helped to raise our profile in the region," says Managing Director Alan Boswell. "We target areas where funds can be seen to be providing real benefits.
"Plus, of course, it's always nice to give a local team a bit of a leg up…."
The recent success of the NU Ladies first team makes them ideal candidates. Promoted to the East League Division One a couple of years ago, last season was their best ever and they finished third. They have become one of the top ladies teams in Norfolk and, following an influx of new blood, have a real chance of promotion this season.
"Both Norwich Union and the hockey club were very happy to tie up the deal with the Alan Boswell Group," says Hannah Austin, captain of the first team. "The more so since the two companies have such a close working relationship. We're very grateful for their support."
