Boswell Group expands Norwich Operations

One of East Anglia's leading insurance brokers and financial advisers, Alan Boswell Group, is expanding its head office at Harbour House, Norwich. The firm has added over 3,000 square feet to accommodate a growing workforce.
As well as generating space to house the Group's new Mortgages division, the extension incorporates offices, training rooms and a new Internet café for staff use.
"Harbour House was almost full, and we are recruiting more staff locally," explains Graham Littlewood, the Group's human resources manager. "The new offices allow us to house everyone in comfort."
As well as recruiting to cope with new business, the Group's new Mortgages division will generate further employment opportunities.
All of which will come as welcome news for financial services employment in East Anglia, given the recent decisions by other financial companies to move jobs abroad.
"The Alan Boswell Group has no intention of moving out of the area," says Graham Littlewood. "We're a local company with a commitment to the community. We aim to combine a professional service with a familiar, friendly face."
The expansion of Harbour House is a direct result of the Alan Boswell Group's dramatic growth over recent years. When it moved into the premises in 2000 the Group employed 60 people in Norwich. Over 100 now work at Harbour House alone, with additional staff at offices in Attleborough and Beccles.
