Alan Boswell Group have been club sponsors of Norwich City FC for over 11 years. We’re proud of the club and what it means for the community. We also know how difficult it is for young children not to be influenced by their peers in the playground and the ‘bragging rights’ afforded to supporters of the bigger clubs.
Some parents are fortunate enough to be able to afford to take their kids to Carrow Road, or to buy them the latest kit. This makes it far more likely that their son or daughter will go on to support the Canaries, but others don’t have this opportunity.
ABG have joined forces with NCFC to launch a new ‘Kits for Kids’ campaign. We hope, over the next few years, to help parents, grandparents, friends or other family to obtain a NCFC shirt for the children in their lives.
We want to see more kids wearing the shirts with pride. Seeing other kids wearing the shirt. Feel part of the local community. The more shirts we can get on the backs of the youngest generation, the more we can help grow the Norwich City family.
We’re starting small this year – 200 shirts have been sourced through the club and we’re running the giveaway campaign via our Twitter account.
We hope this will grow. We’d love to see other businesses get involved and offer ways for others to donate. We’d love to see pre-loved kits made available. We’d love to be able to give away 500 shirts next year, 1000 shirts the following year… or even more.
If you have any ideas on how we can make this dream a reality, or would like to get involved, send us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org
All the supporting graphics for Kits for Kids (including the one at the top of this page) were created by Norwich based designer, Stephen Lister.
Stephen is a graphic and digital designer with eight years experience in the creative industry. He also has three years studying design at Norwich University of the Arts and has a versatile skillset and focus on clean, modern design.
If you’re a Norwich City fan then it’s very likely you’ve seen Stephen’s designs. This past season, one of Stephen’s designs was featured on the limited edition ‘to the fans’ kit, worn by NCFC in their match against Reading. As well as creating NCFC graphics for ABG, he has worked with Norwich City Women FC since 2019 and often creates graphics featured on the Norwich City fan channel, Talk Norwich City.
Stephen’s work isn’t just limited to NCFC, with a specialism in brand design from logos to social media graphics as well as web design and illustrations.
