AICC member's professional indemnity insurance cover in detail

Cover

Limits of indemnity are £100,000 up to £5m each and every claim, costs and expenses in addition. Pollution and contamination claims are ‘aggregate’ including costs. Higher limits can be arranged.

Excess

Usually a minimum of £500 but often higher as it depends on the type of work undertaken and size of the consultancy.
Excess does not apply to costs and expenses other than for pollution and contamination claims.

Liability cover

It is possible to include public and employers' liability cover within the policy or to arrange separate cover if it is more appropriate.

Premium payment

Instalment facilities are available over 12 months normally at no additional charge.
