Complementary Therapy Insurance in detail
Complementary therapy insurance provides the following covers:

Public liability
Cover for claims arising from third parties arising out of the course of the business. This includes protection for claims arising from bodily injury, mental injury, illness, disease or death of any patient caused by any negligent act, error, or omission for some treatments (please refer to the Approved Therapies list below for full list).

Products liability
Cover for claims arising from third parties resulting from products used, sold, or supplied arising out of the course of the business.
Extensions available include:
- Business equipment Cover for equipment used in the day to day operation of your business.

Employers liability cover
Limit of indemnity £10,000,000
Wage roll basis up to £20,000 per annum
Additional cost: £61

Cover is provided for the policyholder to practice at demonstrations and talks, but no cover is afforded for members of the public to practice at such events.

The policy includes cover for the sale, supply, or prescription of products when directly related to a treatment provided to a client. All other sale of products is excluded.

Yes, cover is provided, but claims arising from any condition directly caused by or associated with this condition are excluded.

Cover is on a claims occurring wording so if cover was in force at the time of the incident insurers will in accordance with the policy terms and conditions deal with the claim.
