About the Role

You will be working as part of the accounts team at our head office in Norwich. Supporting the finance department by managing day-to-day transactional accounting. Maintaining financial records, processing invoices, handling expense claims, and performing bank reconciliations to ensure the company's financial operations run smoothly and accurately. 

You’ll be:

Key responsibilities:

  • Reconcile insurer statements and process payments

  • Processing, coding and reviewing invoices.

  • Processing supplier payments.

  • Process clients’ payments.

  • Posting and reconciling customer receipts.

  • Completing bank reconciliations.

  • Working to deadlines.

  • Dealing with queries, internally and externally.

  • Support the accounts team by managing day to day functions.

  • Processing expenses claims.

 

Skills & experience

We’re looking for someone who has strong numerical skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy but also brings a proactive and positive approach to their work.

What you’ll bring

  • A positive attitude and strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong time management and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

  • Confident communication skills across all levels of the business.

  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Knowledge of Sage 200 (desirable).

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs in Maths & English grade 5 (C) or above
