We are looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Officer to support the HR Director in delivering a smooth and effective HR function. What you'll do:
HR Operations & Advisory:
Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of employment matters.
Collaborate with the HR Director and leadership team on HR strategy and initiatives.
Manage and maintain the HR database, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Champion the adoption of HR tech that reduces administration and elevates strategic contribution through workflows and automation
Generate and analyse HR data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Stay up to date with employment legislation and recommend best practices.
Employee Relations:
Support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit and encourage cross functional integration initiatives
Work closely with managers to understand departmental needs and provide tailored HR support.
Promote effective performance management, learning and development planning.
Communicate Group wide updates and initiatives via SharePoint and other internal channels to support employee engagement.
Learning & Development:
Working with line managers to develop their team’s personal pathways where employees can visualise how to grow within the Group – utilising mentoring, coaching, upskilling and assist with identifying training needs across the Group.
Support professional development and qualifications across the Group
Partner with managers to design and deliver impactful training programmes including apprenticeship and graduate schemes.
Payroll & Benefits:
Manage and administer the monthly payroll and pension data in collaboration with our external providers.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee changes and benefits.
HR Administration:
Prepare contracts, offer letters, and employment documentation for all employees.
Conduct employment checks and coordinate new starter inductions.
Support the review and update HR policies and procedures to enable a good understanding of employment practices.
