Senior Accounts Officer

About the Role

In this diverse and hands-on position, you will support the full spectrum of accounts receivable and payable functions while also delivering key financial reporting to our Directors. You will play an essential role in our monthly and quarterly accounts processes and help ensure the integrity of our financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile income and investigate any discrepancies or queries.

• Process, review and schedule payment of supplier invoices.

• Prepare and review monthly accounts, including bank reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.

• Complete monthly income reporting and review Intelliflo reports, highlighting variances.

• Assist with quarterly consolidated accounts reporting.

• Produce regulatory and financial reports, including FCA and VAT returns.

• Support corporation tax calculations.

• Liaise with external auditors during annual audits.

• Good IT skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel.

• Knowledge of Sage 200 and Intelliflo (desirable).

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified (or equivalent) is desirable and would be an advantage.
