The importance of high-value insurance cover

At Alan Boswell Group, we take the insurance needs of our clients extremely seriously – and that includes individuals with high-value items that need to be insured. This could cover anything from antiques and jewellery to art and property.

These exceptionally valuable items need to be insured separately at an appropriate level and as a leading independent insurance broker, we’re best placed to help you do so.

Home and contents

No two homes are the same and we all have individual possessions that define who we are and the space we live in. These items usually have a high personal value, but some will have a high financial value as well. In some cases, these may be irreplaceable in the event of accidental damage and can be a tempting target for thieves. As such, getting them insured to the correct value is essential.

Some of these valuable items may not be included as standard home insurance and will need to be specifically insured. You will want to use a trusted broker where discretion and confidentiality are assured. In order to have complete peace of mind where your most treasured possessions are concerned it also makes sense to have independent valuations of your items.

More than possessions

But it’s not just high-value possessions that are at risk and need to be insured. High-net-worth individuals are also at greater risk of identity theft and financial fraud than other people. Thankfully, you can insure against this too. Our independent advisors can confidentially discuss this matter with you and tailor the best solution for your needs.

Independent advice

To help you get the right cover, we offer our high-value clients a dedicated client manager. That way you can rest assured that there will always be someone on hand who understands your situation and can deal with any problems or queries quickly and efficiently.

We can also provide independent financial advice, with our own specialist team covering a variety of financial areas, including investments and protection. We’ve built long-term relationships with both our business and personal clients, based on trust and reliability.

Owning high-value possessions is a great responsibility as well as a great privilege. Our experience suggests that those in this position take their responsibility seriously and want to protect the treasures they’ve been entrusted with. We take great pride in being able to help them to do this.
