Ben is a Chartered Financial Planner with over 10 years’ experience and has a particular focus on tax efficiency. After studying Management and Economics at University, Ben left to work in Financial Planning where he creates comprehensive and complex financial plans helping clients achieve their financial goals using lifetime cash flow analysis.
Previously working in the City of London for a national Wealth Manager, Ben swapped his 5 hour daily commute for something more manageable in 2017 when he joined Alan Boswell in Norwich.
Ben advises high net worth clients and their families, trustees and professional introducers in areas such as pensions, insurance, inheritance tax and trusts, tax efficient investing and offshore structures.

Tony is an Associate Director in the Wealth team who joined Alan Boswell from the national accountancy firm Grant Thornton in 2003. The Norwich office of KPMG that he joined became part of Grant Thornton and he worked closely with the Tax team to ensure that client’s investment and pension arrangements were tax efficient. Previous to this, Tony worked in the Manchester HQ of Co-Op Insurance after completing an Economics degree at Manchester University.
With extensive experience at working closely with accountants from his years at KPMG/Grant Thornton, Tony work closely with professionals in advising high net worth individuals and Trusts in formulating long-term Financial Plans. The areas included are investment, retirement, estate planning and tax management. He hold the Advanced Tax and Trust and with Pension qualifications, which allows him to advise in specialist areas of Financial Planning such as SSAS’s and Pension Transfers. David joined Alan Boswell Financial Services in 2007 after an extensive career as a broker consultant for a number of companies latterly working in London for Clerical Medical’s National Account team looking after a portfolio of National IFA’s. A past Chairman of the Eastern region Professional Finance Society he took the advanced financial planning certificate and is Diploma qualified with the CII.
Based at Alan Boswell’s Prospect House office as a senior financial planner, David is involved in Wealth planning advice for a larger number of personal and corporate clients, having steered the company through its auto-enrolment project. David specialises in all aspects of corporate pension and protection planning as well as providing personal advice to his wealth clients, which encompasses all aspects of pension and investment planning.

John began his working life with NatWest in Manchester and later moved to Equity & Law.
In 1989 he was invited to head up the financial planning division of UK-wide solicitors Eversheds. He remained with them for 13 years until that business was acquired by Alan Boswell Group. John has been instrumental in forging strong links between the Financial Services division and the accountancy and legal professions and in 2006 was appointed its Managing Director.
