Finance Director

After studying engineering at Nottingham University, Alastair joined London accountancy firm Haysmacintyre. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant, he moved back to his native city of Norwich to join Virgin Money. During Virgin Money’s time of rapid expansion (with the acquisition of Northern Rock) Alastair moved to Edinburgh and took up the position of Treasury Manager.

Alastair relocated back to Norfolk to join Alan Boswell Group in 2013 as Group Financial Controller. He was promoted to the Board of Directors for Alan Boswell Insurance Brokers and Alan Boswell & Company Ltd in 2015. In 2016 Alastair was appointed as Finance Director for the Group.

As well as being a Chartered Accountant, Alastair is also a Chartered Treasurer.

Alastair and his wife have three children and are both passionate Norfolk Broads sailors.
