Chris studied accountancy and then statistics before making his way into insurance. Initially working in reinsurance and then direct insurance for overseas companies, Chris joined Alan Boswell Insurance Brokers in 1993 as Office Manager. The company was much smaller then – there were only 25 employees in total – but Chris was drawn by the sheer enthusiasm of the company to focus on its clients and to strive to provide the best service possible.

Chris is a Chartered Insurance Broker and Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute. He firmly believes that continual training and professional development for both the company and individuals is the way forward.

A family man with a wife and three children, Chris likes to race his sailing boats whenever he gets the chance and also plays a bit of golf when the opportunity arises.
