Claims Handler – Rent Guarantee Insurance (RGI)

We are looking for a Rent Guarantee Insurance Claims Handler (RGI) to join our established claims team in Norwich. This position will focus on Landlord Legal Expenses and Rent Protection claims.

  • Full-Time
  • Office-Based with Flexibility
  • Salary £25,000 to £32,000 (depending on experience)

About the role:

  • As a RGI claims handler you will be the first point of call for clients who need to make an insurance claim and will assist the client throughout the claim process.
  • You will be expected to deliver first-class service in a friendly and professional manner as part of a fast-paced and varied department.
  • You will have ownership of a number of clients and deal with each claim from beginning to end.

What we’re looking for:

  • This role would suit a self-motivated individual with Claims handling or Lettings experience, strong technical and customer service experience, an excellent telephone manner and administrative skills.
  • Previous product experience is advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
  • The successful candidate will have worked within a similar environment with the proven ability to work well under pressure.
  • We expect the candidate to take a proactive approach to managing each claim and assist to resolve any issues in a timely manner while providing the best customer service to the client.

  • Previous claims and/ or lettings experience
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with good administrative skills
