Cambridgeshire FA today announced the renewal of our sponsorship of the Cambridgeshire Girls and Women’s Football League for the 2025/26 season. Women’s and girl’s football has grown exponentially in recent years, boosted by the Lionesses’ 2022 Euros victory, with a 56% rise in participation and over 50% more teams registered in the past four years.

This year will mark the 21st season sponsored by Alan Boswell Group, alongside our sponsorship of other grassroots sports teams and Cambridge United F.C.

Lee Boswell, Marketing Director at Alan Boswell Group, said,

“We’re pleased to continue our sponsorship of the Cambs FA Girls and Women’s League. As a Group, we have supported grassroots and professional sport for many years and recognise the contribution it brings to the local community. Women’s football has gone from strength to strength over the last few years, and we look forward to seeing that continue with the Women’s Euros taking place this year.”

Through over 20 years of sponsorship, they have enabled the league to grow and develop to over 250 teams.

We recently strengthened our commitment to Cambridge with the move to a new state-of-the-art location at Cambridge Business Park. The relocation to a larger, better-connected office at the centre of Cambridge’s business community and nearby Cambridge Science Park will support our ongoing expansion plans.
