National Landlord Investment Show Awards
We’re delighted to have been crowned ‘Best Landlord Insurance Provider‘ for the fifth time at the National Landlord Investment Show Awards, recognising the brilliant work put in by our Landlords team. This follows victories in 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023. With a Covid hiatus in 2020 and 2021 we have held this top honour for the past seven years.
The National LIS Awards celebrate excellence within the private rented sector. The awards ceremony is held in London with representatives from a variety of industries present at the event, including finance, letting agents, local authorities and landlord insurance providers.
The winners were chosen by a panel of industry experts and online voting.

Which? Best Buy
In 2023, we were reviewed by Which.co.uk alongside other landlord policies from major providers. Which? surveyed over 850 landlords to give a customer score and analysed 117 different elements of a landlord insurance policy, including an overall policy score, buildings, contents, liability, rent cover, and the excess. They determined one of our products is the best in the UK, awarding us with a Which? Best Buy!
In 2024, Which? awarded our landlord insurance product a Which? Best Buy for the second year in a row, an acknowledgement of our marketing-leading insurance products and continued commitment to providing landlords with the best protection products at competitive prices.
London Landlord Accreditation Scheme Awards
In 2019 we were awarded Best Landlord Insurance Provider at the London Landlord Accreditation Scheme Awards!
The event brought together over 500 individuals from different areas of the property market, including landlords, agents, and investors. The theme for the night was to discover how everyone working within the private rented sector could adapt, change and thrive in 2019. As for the awards themselves, there were 12 categories altogether, with NIA Insurance and Landlord Insurance Ltd as the other finalists within the Best Landlord Insurance Provider category.
Chartered Insurance Brokers
Whilst not an ‘award’ in the traditional sense, our insurance operations have also achieved Chartered Insurance Broker status from the Chartered Insurance Institute. It is a public declaration of professional standards, encompassing a series of commitments – including ongoing people development, alignment of ethics and values, committing to ‘customer first’ values, supporting wider social initiatives, and wearing the ‘Chartered badge’ with pride.
