Royal Norfolk Show 2018
Last year our marquee at the Royal Norfolk Show provided respite for those seeking solace from the downpours. This year it was solace from the sun as temperatures of 30+ degrees greeted attendees at the prestigious annual agricultural event.
Raincoats and wellies were replaced with shirts and sandals but no changes in the temperature were going to stop our guests enjoying the hospitality and refreshments on offer. Guests arriving early enjoyed a coffee and a pastry, those arriving over lunch appreciated the full buffet with strawberries and cream for dessert and for those arriving later we served afternoon tea and cakes.
A sneak preview of our magazine, Telegraph, was also available. Featuring interviews with homeowner, Priscilla Bradley-Watson; farmer, Kevin Bowes; and Managing Director of Alan Boswell Financial Planners, John Whitehead, it is packed with industry and company news, helpful tips and guidance. Watch this space for the digital edition.
The main reason for attending the show was the opportunity to meet our clients. With more than 400 guests joining us over the two days, we were able to catch up in an informal setting. Building relationships in this way help us get closer to our customers and ensure we can deliver the first-class service that they have come to expect from us.
Alan Boswell, Executive Chairman, said: “This is the premier event of the Norfolk year and is attended by the vast majority of Norfolk businesses, either as an exhibitor or visitor. It gives us the perfect opportunity to catch up with many of our clients and say thank you for their loyalty.”
