Ian has worked in the Insurance Industry since 1987 beginning as an Apprentice at an Insurance Brokers, Harvest Insurance Services. He worked there until 1994 having progressed from Personal Lines to the Commercial Team during that time.

Ian then moved to Barclays Brokers to deal with more complex risks and continue his role as a Commercial Account Handler until 2002, when he joined Weller, Russell & Laws Insurance Brokers.

There have been two takeovers of the company since with the latest being in 2017 by Alan Boswell Group. During this time Ian has progressed to Commercial Team Leader.

A married man Ian enjoys travelling, watching all sports, especially his beloved Leeds United and looking after his Jack Russell dogs.
