Kate Walker
Account Director
Kate is an Account Director and leads the Technology and Life Science specialism for the Group. She works closely with both new and existing clients, bringing specialist expertise and a practical, relationship-led approach to understanding their businesses and insurance needs.
Having started her career with the company in 2003, Kate has held several roles including Team Leader and New Business Negotiator, giving her broad experience across client service, business development, and team leadership. She is also passionate about championing young people across the Group, supporting their development, and helping them build confidence within the industry. Kate has also contributed to the wider insurance industry through her involvement with the local Insurance Institute, including serving as President in 2012.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys going out for dinner, horseracing, and spending time with friends and family.
