Regional Manager

Steve started his career at Commercial Union in London, joining the insurer in a trainee role before progressing to a broker-facing account manager role.

Subsequently, Steve went on to work in a sales-led role for a small broker in South London, relishing the opportunity to do some traditional door-to-door sales before moving to Cambridge and starting a family while working for a local broker.

The years after moving to Cambridge saw Steve in roles at some large national insurers, including Marsh and Aon, before joining Saffron Insurance, where he worked for 13 years and was appointed their Managing Director in 2019.

Steve joined ABG in 2023 as Regional Manager for our Peterborough, Boston and Cambridge branches and enjoys building relationships with the local community and the client-first ethos of working for an independent insurance broker.

Steve is an avid Peterborough United supporter, and enjoys motorcycling in his spare time.
