About us:

ABG may feel part of the Norwich landscape, after all we’ve been busy helping our clients with insurance and financial advice for nearly 40 years.  But scratch a little under the surface and you’ll see we’re a bit of an anomaly.

For starters, there really is an Alan Boswell!  He’s the owner and Executive Chairman and this means we remain fiercely independent. We’re not owned by some major US conglomerate, nor are we beholden to shareholders or to hitting defined profit-margins to maximise dividend pay-outs.

Instead, we can invest in our people, our service standards, our infrastructure and our communities. It’s why we’ve been able to bring together our four Norfolk offices into our new head office in the heart of the city of Norwich, why we’ve expanded throughout East Anglia and Lincolnshire and why we’ve set up the ABG Trust, committing a substantial part of Group profits to supporting the charities that are close to our employee’s hearts.

But most of all, it allows us to offer our clients truly independent advice. And this is at the absolute heart of our vision: To be the natural choice for friendly, expert advice on insurance, risk management and financial services.

The Marketing and Communications Department is an integral part of our proposition; providing prospects and clients with an early insight into our ways of working and offering easy access to our products and services. We aim to take a professional, proactive and measurable approach to meet our objectives, which are:

  • Strengthen the ABG brand
  • Drive lead generation
  • Keep our clients engaged
