The role:

Location: Norwich – office based with flexibility when fully trained

Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Role: Full-time, Permanent

What should you expect?

  • Lead the team to manage the day-to-day expectations of the team and to make the team a great place to work
  • Actively guide the team to reach their potential and provide a high level of customer satisfaction as efficiently as possible
  • Answer technical referrals and use them as an opportunity for you and your team members to learn and develop
  • Implement projects as directed by the Group and Personal Lines Managers
  • Organise and deliver bespoke training plans and PDPs of the team
  • Deliver audit feedback and implement improvement programmes so work is completed with a high degree of accuracy and compliance

Responsibilities

  • Keep the team operating effectively and within SLAs
  • Motivate the team to hit sales targets
  • Coach, mentor, train, shadow and inspire our team to professionally develop and grow.
  • Maintain a high level of broking technical knowledge along with a detailed understanding of our systems and processes to ensure you are an excellent referral point for colleagues
  • Focus on quality, efficiency and standards within the team and implementing action plans where necessary
  • Work closely with other team leaders to promote good communication and help other teams achieve their growth targets
  • Take every opportunity to learn and grow by demonstrating continuous professional development within the role

Skills required

  • Expertise:  Be a technical expert for personal lines and landlord broking to act as referral for your team
  • Leadership: Guide your team to reach career and team targets through mentoring, decision making, delegation, training and coaching
