Lead Engineer
Gary started at Alan Boswell Risk Management as an Engineering Surveyor in January 2016, having spent more than 22 years as a multi-skilled aircraft engineer in the Royal Air Force, and as an engineer surveyor for HSB Engineering.
Gary has a Level 6 qualification in Engineering and Engineering Management and holds professional membership with the Society of Operations Engineers.
Qualified as an HSE-defined ‘Competent Person’, he can conduct statutory, thorough examinations of lifting equipment, pressure systems and local exhaust ventilation under the Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER), The Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 (PSSR), the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health 2002 (CoSHH) & the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).
Outside of work Gary enjoys spending time with his young family, walking his dog, flying helicopters and annoying his wife.
